Pet Portraits · Chelmsford, MA
They won't be this age forever. Neither will you.
Fine art pet portrait commissions — studio and outdoor — for dogs, cats, and the families who love them.
Chelmsford · Westford · Concord · Greater Boston

"Their whole life is measured in years. Yours is measured in moments with them."
Dogs and cats move through our lives faster than anything else we love. They are puppies, then they are greying at the muzzle, and then they are gone — and all we have left are blurry phone photos taken at the wrong angle with bad light.
A fine art pet portrait changes that. One session, professionally directed, results in wall art that lasts a lifetime. Not a folder on your phone. Not a file you mean to print someday. A large, luminous portrait on your wall — permanent, immediate, impossible to ignore.
Studio or outdoors —
your pet's personality leads.
Every pet is different. Some thrive in the controlled calm of the studio.
Others come alive in nature. We build the session around them.

- Completely distraction-free environment — ideal for anxious or reactive pets

The Questions I hear most
Your concerns,
answered.
Every pet owner has the same three worries before booking. None of them
are actually problems.
01
"My dog won't sit still."
Good. A pet that moves is a pet with personality — and personality is exactly what we're here to photograph. Sessions are completely unhurried. We follow your pet's lead, catch the candid moments, and let their energy create the image. Some of the most striking portraits I've ever made were of dogs who "wouldn't cooperate."
02
"She's old — is it too late?"
It's never too late — it may be the most important time. The portraits I've made of aging pets are among the ones families treasure most deeply. When a beloved animal is in their final years, a fine art portrait becomes a keepsake of extraordinary significance. The right time to commission a portrait is now, not someday.
03
"I just need photos of my pet."
You could take those on your phone. What you can't take on your phone is a 30×40 inch archival canvas print that hangs in your living room and stops everyone who walks through the door. That's what this is. Not documentation — art. Art that reflects how much this animal means to you and the life you built together.

Every commission is designed to live on a wall — not in a phone folder. During your private Reveal, we design your collection around your room's exact dimensions before a single print is ordered. Then it's produced, delivered, and installed in your home.

QUESTIONS
Everything before you book.
Still have questions? Reach out directly — happy to talk through the right session type for your pet.
What types of pets do you photograph?
We specialize in dogs and cats but welcome all pets — rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and more. Studio and outdoor locations both work well depending on your pet's temperament and what will feel most natural for them.
My pet never sits still. Will this work?
This is the question I hear most — and it almost never becomes a problem. Sessions are completely unhurried. A pet with energy and personality is a pet worth photographing. Some of the most striking images come from dogs who were supposedly impossible to photograph.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Absolutely. Pet-and-family portraits are some of the most meaningful commissions I do — especially when a pet is aging or facing a health diagnosis. These are the images families keep forever. You can include children, partners, grandparents — whoever makes up their world.
Which session is better — studio or outdoor?
It depends entirely on your pet. Anxious pets, reactive dogs, or animals who need a calm and controlled environment tend to do best in the studio. High-energy dogs and animals who are most themselves outdoors thrive in natural locations. We discuss this during your consultation and choose together.
How much does a pet portrait session cost?
Investment varies based on session type and the artwork you choose for your home. Contact us to receive a full experience guide with pricing details. Every commission includes professional wall art — this is not a digital-files-only service.
Their time with you
